Wooden rattle / rattle

The rattle, is a funny musical instrument was used in the Middle Ages. It is also called brouan or tartuleuil.

Its operation will delight the little ones! Indeed it consists in rotating a board around a wooden reel, which generates a noise when it rotates around the axis of the reel.
